Located in western and southern Northern Virginia, the 20th District Court Service Unit (CSU) serves Loudoun County, Fauquier County, and Rappahannock County. Headquartered in the Loudoun County Courthouse in Leesburg, Virginia, the 20th District CSU also has branch offices in Ashburn, Warrenton, and Washington, Virginia. Each office provides juvenile and domestic relations intake, juvenile diversion, and juvenile probation and parole services. In its effort to protect the public, the unit offers a variety of other services to hold juvenile offenders accountable, as well as provides an opportunity for them to develop into responsible and productive citizens.
For youth on probation and parole, court service unit staff have access to a variety of contracted services including assessments and evaluations, individual therapy, family therapy, substance abuse treatment, therapy for youth with sexualized behaviors, and life skills coaching. CSUs access these services through DJJ's contracted regional service coordinators. A directory of services available through DJJ's RSC Model is available at Evidence-Based Associates.
