Central Admission and Placement Intake

DJJ contracts with the juvenile detention centers (JDCs) to house direct care youth within the JDC during their intake and evaluation process. The Central Admission and Placement (CAP) Unit maintains primary case management responsibilities for the youth during their intake. Depending on the length of a youth’s stay in intake, treatment services such as aggression management, substance use, individual therapy, and family therapy may be delivered by providers through the Regional Service Coordination (RSC) model.
