DJJ contracts with juvenile detention centers (JDCs) to operate individual bed placements (IBPs), housing within the JDC for direct care youth. IBPs allow youth to remain in an alternative to the juvenile correctional center and provide smaller settings for youth to complete their commitment. The Central Admission and Placement (CAP) Unit maintains primary case management responsibilities for the youth in IBPs. Treatment services such as aggression management, substance use, individual therapy, and family therapy are delivered by providers through the Regional Service Coordination (RSC) model. The following JDCs operate IBPs:
