Placement & Program Implementation

The Placement & Program Implementation Division is committed to ensuring the continuity of care by monitoring compliance and service delivery to improve outcomes for youth and families.

The P&PI Division consists of highly qualified teams that include the Behavior Analysis Unit, the Central Admission & Placement (CAP) Unit, Quality Assurance (QA) Unit, the Violence Intervention Unit (VIU), and the Virginia Juvenile Community Crime Control Act (VJCCCA) Unit.

Inclusive within this division is the Central Classification & Review Committee (CCRC) process and a Medical Compliance Administrative role to provide support and oversight for alternative placement programs.

Additionally, the responsibility of the Regional Service Coordinator, Evidence-Based Associates (EBA), falls under this division within the QA Unit. Finally, Juvenile Detention Centers (JDCs) are a major part of the CAP and QA Units responsibilities. This includes partnership and oversight of youth intake (or CAP Intake), Community Placement Programs (CPPs), Individual Bed Placements (IBPs), and Detention Reentry.
